About

‘The Untold Motion Picture Company’ was established in 2015 by Ian Noble and John Innes. Our aim is to provide flexible and responsive production services to the voluntary sector, not-for-profit, education, and other community initiatives.

We are always keen to collaborate with third sector, educational and community action projects. Our team has considerable experience in social work, psychology, learning disability, criminal justice, youth work, communication and training and understands how to collaborate with third sector partners - helping you to tell The Untold Stories that need to be heard by the wider public. If you have a project idea please do get in touch for a chat.

We work with a range of organisations including, Alzheimer Scotland, Scottish Autism, Glasgow Film Theatre, 21 Common, SAMH, Life Changes Trust, New Struan School, Social Work, NHS, University of the West of Scotland.

We have delivered film-making courses - supporting people to learn how to tell their own stories. We also collaborate with other artists and musicians - recording performances, music videos and more.

Whilst we have considerable experience in filmmaking, photography, and sound recording, we also have professional backgrounds in the voluntary sector, social work, health and social care. We understand the needs of third sector colleagues, and how to engage  sensitively with people whose voices can so often go unheard.

Ian Noble is also a SSSC registered Social Worker and MSc Psychologist (Applied Psychology of Learning Disability) having worked extensively with children and adults with complex support needs such as deafblindness and autism.

John Innes is  an experienced Youth Worker, Criminal Justice Social Work Assistant and Substance Misuse worker.

Robbie Noble is also a regular member of the team. A sound recording/audio editing specialist and camera operator. He is a musician and composer, producing original soundtracks.
